Usually, blends of BP-A and BP-F resins & reactive diluent, Specialty Liquid Resins offer superior performance compared to BP-A based resins. They usually reduce viscosity while retaining chemical & solvent resistance. Performance features like chemical & crystallization resistance, thermal stability, high Tg, modulus, cure speed and UV resistance are far superior. Specialty blends of bio-based resin and amine epoxy are used for composite materials to overcome limitations with typical resins. Specialty Liquid Resins are mostly used for demanding applications in construction, coatings, electrical & electronics, high performance structural adhesives and prepregs.
